My Life Complicated But Not So Complicated

prologue
This is me let me explain who I am. My name is Alena Sherrese Taitt. I'm going to tell you how my life is complicated but not so complicated. It all started in October 1997 when I was born. I was born to my mother and father in Newark Beth Isreal hospital. My parents were so proud. Their names are Helena Taitt and Omar Thompson. When I first came home from I was spoiled by my family since I was the new addition to the new family. My grandmother on my mother side gave me the nickname "Dimples" because of the dimple in my chin. My grandmother on my father side agreed to this name. My two grandmother's was best friends that's  how my mother and father met. At the age of 8 months my mom moved to Montclair New Jersey. At this time we lived with my dad and my grandparents. They were so happy that we moved in. This took place in 1997 also. In 1998 around when I was 1 in a half  years old I started school. The school name was Montclair Child Development center. My first teacher name was Mrs. Puryeur and her teacher assistant was my cousin MRS. Kyisha  Branch. In 1999-2000 I attended a range of schools. This is were my life became complicated but not to complicated. It became complicated because I was leaving a school I loved to attend a higher grade . This was scary for me. I didn't know no one and I was the biggest one in my class. In 2003 my mom gave birth to my baby sister who name is Dora Vanessa Powell. I was happy at first my feelings change when I felt like nobody wasn't giving me any attention that I derserved anymore. I started to rebelled against my sister and mom, this caused my mom to send me to live with my dad. Living with my dad was a big change for better as well as worst. I say this because at the time my dad lived with someone he was dating. My dad girlfriend liked me when my dad was around but when he left she would say things like " You stink" or "that's why you are not living with your mother now."Around 2005 my sister had a traumatic issue she had to deal with at the age of 2 my sister was diagnosed with a rare skin infection which cause her skin to  blister and for the skin to fall off. When this happened she had to stay in the hospital for one month with skin grafts, she also  had to learn how to walk all over again. I didn't find out about what happened to her until I returned and I saw her bandage up like a mummy. The caused me to cry and say " Mom what happened to my baby sister." In 2012 I went to my first prom in the 8th grade. It was so much fun I got to dress up like a princess for one day. In 2013 I ha my first sexual experience. It was all that I thought it would be ( laughing out loud to myself). My mom was very upset with me because I lied to her every time she would ask me " Alena are you having sex yet." My response would be No I'm not." When she found out she was furious. She was so furious because it happen under her roof while I was babysitting my sister. When this incident happened I would sneak on the phone and tai to the boy even though I knew she didn't approve of it. This cause me not to focus in school for m freshmen year in high school, this caused my grades to slip. Now in 2013 I'm a sophomore in high school. I'm not into boys my main focus is my lass wrk and making it to the next gave. This year  I can say stated  off better. I will be 16 in a few more days. I also been obey my mom about the boy's, I do my homework, and i study for my test. I also have two new friends that I live near. I just hope my dad comes around more to see how beautiful a young women I am becoming, because of my moms hard work and effort. I can truly say without her and my family's support I don't now where I will be. The continuation to my saga will come soon
